Dr. Binger has a PhD in Global and Comparative Studies in Education, and MEd in cultural art, and a BS in Art Education. Her research explores methods to increase cultural understanding at a deep level to bring a greater understanding to cultural sensitivity, awareness, and acceptance of differences. Her four areas of research encompass inclusion of cultural awareness in educational systems, cultural immersions, multilingualism, and cultural arts. She has taught in k12 and in higher education in the USA and abroad for twenty years.
