Prof. Dr. Berit Sandberg has a degree in Business Administration. She has been a professor of Business Administration at the University of Applied Sciences (HTW) Berlin and was awarded the university’s teaching award for her lecture on Artful Leadership. During the last decade, intersections between business administration and the arts have been Berit’s main research interest. She managed extensive research projects on artistic work attitudes and cooperation between artists and companies.

Prof. Dr. Bassant M. Attia

Professor Bassant M. Attia, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of Media and Communication Studies, with a research profile that spans the domains of television studies, digital media, political communication, and the applications of artificial intelligence in media. Her scholarly work has primarily focused on the representation and portrayal of the Arab region in Western media, as evidenced by her extensive publication record of over 12 peer-reviewed research articles. In recognition of her academic excellence, Professor Attia was awarded the prestigious "Best Researcher" accolade at the 2019 International Conferences hosted by the Faculty of Mass Communication, Cairo University.
Currently, Professor Attia serves as the Head of the Media Department at the College of Language and Communication, which is part of the Arab Academy of Science and Technology and Maritime Transport in Egypt.

Yasmine Loza (https://orcid.org/0000-0002-7448-8016) holds her Ph.D. in Human Rights and Social Sciences (2020) and her master’s ‘Roads to Democracy(ies)’ in Political Science and International relations (2015) from the University of Coimbra, Portugal. She pursued her bachelor’s at the American University, Cairo, Egypt (2012) majoring in Sociology and minoring in Psychology. Yasmine carried out her research at the Centre for International Studies, University Institute of Lisbon (2021) and is currently a research fellow at the Portucalense Legal Institute, Portucalense Infante D. Henrique University, Porto, Portugal (2023). Her lines of investigation contribute to the pursuit of sociopolitical critical analyses within global and local contexts and across interdisciplinary domains including legal and media cultures. Yasmine's research trajectory is scientifically committed towards redressing the gaps between South and North, politics of representation, security, and identity markers to traverse boundaries and promote equal access and exchange across intercultural societal terrains in the international community.
